What are OLOS®Glasses?

OLOS®Glasses are the wearable implementation of the patented OLOS® methodology, developed by Blue Cinema TV to introduce multilingual interactive virtual humans into real-world indoor and outdoor environments.

Through optical see-through devices, virtual storytellers appear directly within the physical space and accompany users in their interaction with places, content and services while maintaining full visual perception of their surroundings.

OLOS®Glasses combine Spatial Computing, natural interaction and Digital Humanism in an experience centred on human presence and its narrative, relational and emotional dimensions.

OLOS®Glasses for Smart Cities & Communities

OLOS®Glasses introduce a form of interaction based on virtual human presence within urban ecosystems, directly integrated into the places where the experience takes place.

Virtual storytellers, guides and human figures can accompany citizens, visitors and users as they explore spaces, heritage, information and services through customisable, multilingual and accessible experiences. Their wearable design and see-through viewing integrate the digital component into the real-world context without disrupting visual contact with the environment or other people.

Areas of application

Culture & Heritage
Interactive storytelling for museums, archaeological sites, monuments, cultural venues and distributed cultural heritage.

Tourism & Destinations
Virtual guides and narrative experiences for cities, historic towns, itineraries, destinations and outdoor environments.

Smart Services & Hospitality
Virtual human figures for orientation, information and access to services across public and private spaces.

Training, Education & Science
Interactive experiences for learning, science communication and knowledge sharing.

Healthcare & Wellbeing
Applications of virtual human presence and natural interaction for information, guidance, training and research in healthcare contexts.

How they work

OLOS®Glasses use optical see-through devices that allow virtual human figures to appear directly within the physical space. Users continue to see the real environment while the virtual storyteller and the content associated with the experience become part of the same space.

The methodology enables interactive, multilingual, accessible and customisable experiences, configured according to the location, content, audience and objectives of each project. Their use in both indoor and outdoor environments also extends the digital experience beyond traditional exhibition spaces.

See-through viewing keeps users connected to the space and their surroundings while avoiding the visual isolation associated with closed-headset systems.
