November 2017. Fall of Raqqa. After the news of the killing of Father Dall’Oglio – kidnapped by jihadi militiamen- Stella, a freelance journalist, looks for documentary footage of the monastery housed in Roman film archives. Her research ends in a historic film lab for developing and printing in Rome. Through this material -partly on film-, Stella leads us into a spiritual Middle East at the discovery of an ascent man, a friend of the people.
