Energy Museum in Ripi (Frosinone, Italy)

The place to explore environmental issues linked to energy sources of the past, the present and the future.
The visiting experience is enriched by new accessible interactive installations, developed through the patented methodologies OLOS® and HI-Human Interface®.

Three skilled workers appear as life-sized, human-like virtual characters, becoming exceptional guides. Bernardo, Erasmo and Angelo Troccoli lead visitors on a time-travelling journey through energy sources, thanks to the multilingual interactive installations “The Windmill”, “The Watermill” and “Today’s Energy”.

At the end of the visit, the “Learning-Gaming” installation enables everyone to delve deeper into selected objects on display in the Museum. By simply pointing your mobile phone at them, a robotic beam of light will activate and accompany the immersive discovery experience. No app downloads or external connections are required.

The creation of these new interactive installations was made possible thanks to the project funded by the Lazio Region, through the public call “Enhancement of Cultural Sites 2020”.
