Blue Cinema TV has been selected as a beneficiary of the “BREVETTI+” incentive programme, thanks to its patent enhancement project based on patent no. 102021000008852, titled “PROCESS FOR THE CREATION OF A NATURAL INTERACTIVE INTERFACE DESIGNED TO ESTABLISH A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A USER AND A VIRTUAL CHARACTER”.

The patent is directly linked to Blue Cinema TV’s registered EU trademark I-CINEMA®, the name with which it is associatedDescription

The patent concerns an innovative interactive audiovisual interface designed to revolutionise the user experience in cinematic, museum, multimedia and other immersive environments, by enabling natural interaction between the user, the real-world setting and virtual characters or digital spaces.

At the core of this patented methodology lies the ability to establish a continuous dialogue between the user and audiovisual content, where each user response dynamically influences the narrative flow. As a result, each individual experiences a unique journey, evolving in real time based on emotional, cognitive and physical inputs detected and interpreted by the system.

The interface combines advanced sensors —capable of monitoring users’ physical and psychological responses— with an intelligent platform, which adapts audiovisual content in real time based on collected data.

Through the integration of biometric, infrared (IR) and motion sensors, the system is able to detect parameters such as heart rate, posture, eye movement, and other physiological responses during content engagement.

By merging artificial intelligence (AI) with cutting-edge sensing technologies, the interface becomes a powerful tool for adaptive storytelling, generating tailored narrative pathways for each user.

Objectives of the Patent Strategy

In previous projects, research was carried out on user preferences related to the use of advanced interactive cinematic tools in educational, artistic, and cultural contexts. The resulting insights are now being used to further optimise the design of the interface in real-world applications, particularly in terms of enhancing the relationship between physical and virtual environments.

The patented system will support the creation of multi-faceted personalised experiences, where audiovisual content —triggered by tangible interfaces embedded with advanced sensing systems— can adapt in response to users’ emotions and reactions.

These developments, which are being immediately launched thanks to this financial support, represent a significant growth opportunity for Blue Cinema TV and will further strengthen its position as a leader in interactive audiovisual innovation.

Moreover, the patent opens new application pathways in sectors where the company is not currently active, such as education, psychology, and emotional marketing.

Funding Awarded

A capital grant of € 80,640.00, equal to 80% of the eligible costs of €100,800.00 (net of VAT), has been awarded to Blue Cinema TV.
