Delivery of HI®-Human Interface Interactive Installation “Brigands of Furci”

Giuseppe Pomponio didn’t ask for permission. He roamed with his rifle on his shoulder, leaving behind fear, anger, respect. Furci, Liscia: every path could be a refuge or a trap, the land became a silent witness to their fugitive life.

The Pomponio gang, led by brothers Giuseppe and Michelangelo, challenged the newly born State, struck power in its symbols, and moved for years in the shadows of a still fragile justice system.

Who were the Pomponio brothers really?

Their story has been whispered for generations, and today, within the Medieval Tower of Furci, its identifying symbol, it comes to life thanks to the interactive installation created using patented methodologies linked to the OLOS® and HI®–Human Interface brands. Guiding visitors through this immersive journey is Angelo Maria Argentieri, a historical figure closely tied to the Pomponio affair.

The interactive installation “Brigands of Furci,” which includes multilingual functionality and features for users with hearing difficulties/disabilities, will allow visitors to learn about the Pomponio gang and the events related to its members, the impact of their presence on the local population, and the courage and determination of those who no longer wanted to live in the terror generated by their presence.

An experience that brings to light faces, voices, and fears, but also the complexity of an era that still has much to tell.
