OLOS®️DSA Project and Innovation in Museum Accessibility

As part of the industrial PhD co-funded by the Lazio Region, titled “Intervention to strengthen research and innovation in Lazio – incentives for innovation PhDs for businesses and public administrations,” the “OLOS®️DSA” project continues, led by Engineer Materazzini and born from the collaboration between Blue Cinema TV and the University of Tuscia.

The paper presents the study of an innovative process aimed at promoting accessibility and inclusivity for children and young people with specific learning disorders in the museum environment, through the patented methodology associated with the European trademark OLOS®️.

The project aims to enhance accessibility and inclusion for children and young people with specific learning disorders (SLD) in museums. This initiative, the result of the collaboration between Blue Cinema TV and the University of Tuscia, proposes an innovative approach based on the patented methodology associated with the European OLOS®️ trademark.

At the core of this proposal is the adoption of advanced technologies to enrich the museum experience and foster greater interaction between visitors and the exhibits. The goal is to transform the traditional museum visit into an engaging and accessible experience for everyone, regardless of their abilities or specific needs. This approach allows museums to offer personalized and interactive journeys to their visitors, thereby enriching the understanding and appreciation of works of art and historical artifacts.

The OLOS®️DSA project seeks to enable more complex and interactive dialogues between life-sized virtual characters and visitors, offering significant potential to further enhance the museum experience, making learning more engaging and accessible to a wide audience.
