“Pasolini. Poetry and Blood” is structured following the journey within Rome of the narrator, investigative journalist Fabio Sanvitale, and his investigation into the mystery of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s murder. Utilizing visual effects and based on new research, this documentary creation moves between cinematic vision and the idea of a reportage, bringing fresh elements to one of the most emblematic crimes of the Italian twentieth century, opening up new scenarios about the motive and clarifying many obscure points of the case. The work unfolds through a series of stages in the neighborhoods of Rome, from San Lorenzo to Eur, Ostiense, Prati, Tiburtina, and finally to the Idroscalo of Ostia. It’s a journey inside Rome and its outskirts, marked by a series of meetings and cinematic reconstructions with witnesses, protagonists, and consultants of the documentary, each adding a piece of truth or solving a piece of the mystery.
