Industrial PhD project OLOS\u00aeSLD<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Development of innovative methodologies, based on artificial intelligence and immersive technologies, supporting access to museum culture for children and young people with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD).<\/h1>\n

As part of the industrial PhD co-funded by the Lazio Region, titled \u201cIntervention to strengthen research and innovation in Lazio \u2013 incentives for innovation PhDs for businesses and public administrations,\u201d the\u00a0<\/span>\u201cOLOS\u00ae\ufe0fDSA\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>project continues, led by Engineer Materazzini and born from the collaboration between Blue Cinema TV and the University of Tuscia.<\/p>\n

The paper presents the study of an innovative process aimed at promoting accessibility and inclusivity for children and young people with specific learning disorders in the museum environment, through the patented methodology associated with the European trademark OLOS\u00ae\ufe0f.<\/p>\n

The project aims to enhance accessibility and inclusion for children and young people with specific learning disorders (SLD) in museums. This initiative, the result of the collaboration between Blue Cinema TV and the University of Tuscia, proposes an innovative approach based on the patented methodology associated with the European OLOS\u00ae\ufe0f trademark.<\/p>\n

At the core of this proposal is the adoption of advanced technologies to enrich the museum experience and foster greater interaction between visitors and the exhibits. The goal is to transform the traditional museum visit into an engaging and accessible experience for everyone, regardless of their abilities or specific needs. This approach allows museums to offer personalized and interactive journeys to their visitors, thereby enriching the understanding and appreciation of works of art and historical artifacts.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the “OLOS\u00aeDSA” project, an interactive holographic lesson on the topic of nuclear fusion has been developed. It can be experienced in the Laboratory for Inclusion at the DEIM Department of the University of Tuscia. Each student can personalise their learning experience thanks to special additional features that replicate the compensatory tools typically used by people with specific learning disorders (SLD): concept maps, images, videos, animations, keywords and several other functions.<\/p>\n
